Amazing Place, beautiful, peaceful, relaxing!
Brilliant! The kids had the most wonderful time running around and exploring for two days and loved building a camp fire.
Authentic and fun connection with nature
Another amazing stay in the most serene, picturesque location, with excellent host.
Tranquil whilst being in the beautiful English country air
Lovely farm stay perfect for kids !!
A wonderful site and Gill the host was so helpful and informative which made our stay so special.
Peaceful, relaxing and most of all fun. The kids were very happy so we were too!
We had a wonderful stay at Sunninglye farm. The setting was beautiful and we loved waking up each morning to a view of rolling hills, sheep and deer from our veranda. My 3 year old, 5 year old and 8 year old loved collecting chicken eggs, feeding the horse and donkey and meeting the pigs and chickens as they pecked and snuffled around our tent. The little play area kept the little ones happy and my oldest loved trying out all of the boats on the pond each day, so everyone was entertained without having to leave the farm and spend extra money. Our dog enjoyed being allowed to come with us everywhere on the farm, swimming in the pond and her off lead walks beyond the campsite, just a short walk away. We loved our tent, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable and private from the other campers.
Our host, Gill, was great, she was available and responsive to our needs, and we felt welcomed and looked after.
A true escape and break from our normal city life. We all loved it.
A fantastic relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
Mrs Le Pelley
A wonderful relaxing holiday. The tents were perfect and had all the essentials needed. There were lots of fun activities for the children and Gill was so lovely and helpful and made our stay so joyful. We will definitely be back.
We had the most amazing time. The location was idyllic, facilities are clean and well maintained.
Gill looked after us, and you can tell she cares about the facilities and farm in general.
We loved it and will be back.
We just came back from a 5 day break to Sunninglye Farm and couldn't have had a better week. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the honesty shop was full of everything you could need on your visit (including some very yummy local cider) and the site itself was great! Lots to keep 7 kids occupied all week, the highlight of which was the lake at the bottom of the farm where we spent time rowing boats/canoes and crayfishing.
Absolutely fantastic break for us and the other four families in our group.
Gill was incredibly welcoming and made our stay really enjoyable yet again!
Brilliant weekend for the second time at Sunninglye. The children loved hanging out by the lake, and also herding the sheep with Gill. Only point to mention was that the new stoves don't seem to be as good as the previous ones - take longer to heat up and harder to get going. Everything else was excellent - we'll be back!
Tranquil, beautiful setting
We had a wonderful time. We loved the freedom to interact with the animals. We found Gill very friendly, relaxed and accommodating. The site is great, with just the right number of guests to make it feel social but not crowded. The camping lodges are absolutely delightful and beautifully designed, although the cold at night reminds you that you are actually "camping"! Very warm sleeping bags are a good idea. We really enjoyed the boating lake. We loved the honesty shop although it would be great if it stocked more local produce. Our son loved the play area and collecting eggs. Nice hot shower, no complaints at all. All in all this is a wonderful holiday that I will thoroughly recommend to others.
Sunninglye Farm is set in glorious grounds. The Featherdown Glamping experience here is as good as it gets. Lovely farm tour & meet the animals. Our girls particularly loved the wild pond and the boats and spent all afternoon there. Making pizzas in the pizza oven another highlight as was pony pampering. Thank you to Gill a wonderful host. Definitely coming back.
We had a great stay. Our host, Gill, was amazing. She took the children to collect eggs, bottle feed lambs, pony pamper. The pizza oven was a great touch which made dinner on Saturday night quick, easy and delicious. We had the brunch adventure down by the pond which was magical. We loved slowing down and focusing on the basics. The children loved the honesty shop and would frequent it may times a day and because everything was so reasonably priced we had not worries about what they took. Beautiful memories made 🥰
Thank you so much to Gill for a wonderful weekend on your beautiful farm! Boating on the pond, feeding the lambs, running wild in the woods, playing football on the sports field & using the many rope swings kept our kids easily entertained for the whole weekend & they are desperate to return. A really special place with a lovely host.
Heerlijk ontstressend, we werden betrokken bij het boerenleven, elke dag contact en meedenken, echt super!!
Slowing down in beautiful welcoming environment .
A wonderful break in nature. The very comfortable accommodation allowed us to relax and enjoy everything the farm had to offer.
We had a lovely weekend away from the city. Our host Gill was friendly and very helpful. The views from our cabin were stunning. The BBQ box and breakfast box that we ordered from the farm contained fresh and delicious food. We enjoyed a country walk, gathering eggs, time on the farm relaxing, delicious meals and fresh air. We would definitely rebook Sunninglye Farm.
A perfect weekend to unwind and forget about it all.
Having stayed at over 10 Farms this was up to the same standards. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The tents are obviously older here and are showing age related degredation.
Best glamping experience ever! Gorgeous location with stunning views. Luxurious accommodation. Attentive and friendly hosts really made us feel welcome. Honesty shop is a nice touch in case you forgot anything.
As usual it was just perfect. Freedom, and space in a beautiful setting.
The children loved the farm experiences - collecting eggs, feeding the pigs and lambs and those pesky chickens!!
My family and I have had a wonderful time at Sunninglye Farm. Our host Gill was wonderful and welcoming its our second time of visiting and I know we will be back again. The pond and boats is a must. Fire pit and s’mores were a real hit with our children. Lovely to be in a camping environment but warm and dry! We all enjoyed feeding the animals, piglets, lambs, donkey and horses. Fabulous.
Instantly transported to a peacefull magical relaxing environment. The children loved the animals especially Norman, the pond was so much fun, especially trying but failing to build our own raft, but still being able to use the kayak & boat. So much for us to do together as three adults and three children, fun was had by all!! The host family were ever so lovely, on hand if you needed anything & made us all feel welcome.
Fantastic setting, friendly hosts and great facilities. What more could you ask for!
Amazing break. Gill was very welcoming
Great weekend at Sunninglye - we loved the site, the lake, the animals etc. Gill was an excellent host. We will be back!
It was wonderful and our children loved every second of it . There is a real sense of freedom, the kids enjoyed feeding the animals in the farm, kayaking on the lake, the facilities were excellent and our host Gill was wonderful.
A truly magical experience; Jill and her family have created a beautiful setting in the Kent countryside and we had an unforgettable holiday with our friends. She managed our group of 10 boys with ease introducing them to bottle feeding lambs and even tummy tickling the piglets! The accommodation is fantastic with lots of space and the children loved the hidden cupboard beds. All the extras were carefully organised and we ate the best home made sausages on our bbq evening. We’ll miss having chickens roaming around us , but we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Sunningley Farm for a fantastic, restful (as much as is possible with 10 boys in tow!) and memorable half term break.
Idyllic .... our only regret is that we didn't book for longer
